BJX Aerospace seeks to boost Guanajuato’s aerospace value chain

BJX Aerospace is strengthening efforts to position Guanajuato as a key player in the global aerospace industry by promoting deeper integration across its value chain.
During the Aerospace & Advanced Manufacturing Summit 2026, held in Puerto Interior, industry leaders highlighted the importance of connecting local capabilities with international opportunities. The event brought together companies, government officials, and specialists to foster collaboration and accelerate business development in high-value sectors.
Óscar Rodríguez Yáñez, president of the Guanajuato Aerospace Cluster, emphasized that the initiative aims to go beyond traditional networking by creating a strategic platform to link suppliers, manufacturers, and technology developers. The goal is to integrate more local companies into the production of aerospace components and advanced manufacturing processes.
Around 30 companies participated in the summit, engaging in business meetings and exploring opportunities for partnerships, supplier development, and innovation. The event also showcased successful regional projects, demonstrating the state’s growing capabilities in engineering and manufacturing.
Authorities noted that Guanajuato continues to expand its aerospace ecosystem, which already includes more than 140 companies and thousands of specialized jobs, with exports reaching international markets such as the United States, Japan, and South Korea.
Through initiatives like this summit, BJX Aerospace aims to consolidate a more robust and competitive supply chain, enabling local firms to move up the value ladder and participate in global aerospace production networks.
