BMW: Driver of employment, sustainability, and investment

The BMW Group San Luis Potosi Plant presented its 2025 Corporate Social Responsibility Report, titled “Driving Toward the Future,” thereby establishing itself as one of the most advanced industrial complexes in the country.

The document summarizes the actions implemented over the past year in the areas of the environment, social responsibility, and industrial development. It also outlines a path focused on sustainability as a strategic pillar of the business, integrating initiatives for talent development, operational efficiency, and strengthening partnerships.

In terms of employment, the plant maintains a workforce of nearly 3,700 employees, with women accounting for 36% of the workforce and representing 15 nationalities, reflecting an operation aligned with international standards of diversity and inclusion.

One of the most significant announcements is the progress made in preparing for the Neue Klasse platform, which will mark the start of electric vehicle production at the plant beginning in 2027, including the assembly of high-voltage batteries.

The 2025 Social Responsibility Report reflects the evolution of the automotive industry in Mexico: a transformation in which sustainability, talent development, and technological innovation have become key factors for competitiveness.
