BYD and UACH sign collaboration agreement

The Autonomous University of Chihuahua (UACH) signed a memorandum of understanding with Build Your Dreams Buses Mexico (BYD) with the aim of establishing academic, scientific, and technological collaboration between the two institutions.
The document was signed by UACH Rector Luis Alfonso Rivera Campos and BYD Mexico CEO Zhou Zou. Both highlighted the importance of linking university education with innovation in sectors such as sustainable mobility.
The agreement includes actions such as student and teacher exchanges, national and international academic mobility, joint research projects, internships for graduate and postdoctoral students, and participation in academic events.
It also includes the exchange of scientific and technical materials and the development of short-term academic programs.
This collaboration seeks to strengthen the relationship between the university and the industrial sector, with a view to promoting professional training and regional development in strategic areas such as technology and sustainability.
BYD was founded in February 1995 and is described as a multifaceted high-tech company dedicated to technological innovation. With more than 28 years of experience in industries related to electronics, automobiles, renewable energy, and rail transit, BYD has established more than 30 industrial parks on six continents.
