Chihuahua secures 109 business meetings at the 2025 Global Agri-Food Forum

During the 2025 Global Agri-Food Forum, held at the Chihuahua Convention Center, 109 business meetings were arranged between local companies and national retail chains. The activity was part of the B2B Business Meeting organized by the Secretariat of Innovation and Economic Development (SIDE).
A total of 93 supplier companies participated, holding meetings with six national retail chains: Alsuper, Canami, Chiligrin, Herdez, San Marcos, and Tajín. These sessions allowed Chihuahua producers to present their products directly to strategic buyers, with the possibility of opening new marketing channels, diversifying markets, and strengthening the competitiveness of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in the region.
The meeting also sought to link participants with large consumer chains, increasing access to national and international markets. The organizers indicated that this type of activity contributes to boosting the agri-food value chain, which can generate jobs and greater economic benefits for the state.
In addition, the forum highlighted Chihuahua's role as a benchmark for quality and innovation in the agri-food sector, as well as the importance of coordination between producers, companies, and authorities to consolidate sustainable economic development strategies.
The activity was carried out in coordination with the State Agricultural Council, the Ministry of Rural Development, and the National Agricultural Council, involving various actors from the public and private sectors. According to participants, these meetings facilitate the identification of specific business opportunities and allow producers to establish commercial relationships that can transcend the long term.
With these actions, Chihuahua reinforces its presence in the national agri-food market, while its companies seek to expand their reach, improve their competitiveness, and take advantage of the opportunities generated by direct interaction with large-scale commercial chains.
