During the presentation, Ulises Alejandro Fernández Gamboa, Secretary of Innovation and Economic Development for Chihuahua, emphasized that Governor Maru Campos's directive is to consolidate the state as a must-visit destination for investment in the automotive and aerospace sectors.

For his part, Jorge Charles, president of the Chihuahua Automotive Cluster, stressed that, despite the climate of global uncertainty, Chihuahua has one of the strongest automotive industries in the country and the world.

Meanwhile, Mario Enríquez, president of the Aerospace Cluster, announced that a turbofan engine will be on display during the event, showcasing the technical capabilities and innovation of the local aerospace sector.

Finally, Luis Azúa, president of the Mexican Aerospace Industry Federation (FEMIA), highlighted the importance of bringing both industries together.

“Mexico is among the top 10 countries in the global aerospace industry, and forums like this help us maintain and strengthen that position,” he said.

The Automotive & Aerospace Nearshoring Summit has established itself as one of the main platforms for attracting foreign investment, promoting production chains, and technological diversification in Mexico.
