Coahuila seeks young talents for companies
COAHUILA - The Secretary of Labor of Coahuila will organize four job fairs for young people in the month of August, where more than 3,000 vacancies will be offered in companies looking to hire new talent.
These job fairs will be held in the municipalities of Saltillo, on August 9; Monclova, on August 15; Torreon, on August 23; and Piedras Negras, on August 28. In these fairs, companies in these regions will offer formal jobs that offer all the benefits of the Law and access to health and social security services.
Nazira Zogbi Castro, Secretary of Labor in Coahuila, pointed out that the state is currently among the first five states in the Republic where young people have access to formal jobs, since six out of every 10 of those who work do so formally.
“Of the more than 800,000 young people between the ages of 15 and 29 who live in Coahuila, around 470,000 are part of the economically active population; more than 30 percent of the labor force in our state is made up of young people. This leads us to carry out these networking events that facilitate the hiring process,” said Zogbi Castro.
In addition, the Secretary of Labor indicated that the launching of these events will be in CANACINTRA, in Saltillo, where more than 600 vacancies will be offered in companies of the Southeast region, and that transportation will be available from Alameda Zaragoza.
In Monclova the event will be held at the Casino de Monclova, with more than 800 vacancies; in Torreon the venue will be the Municipal Gymnasium, with around 850 vacancies; while in Piedras Negras the venue will be the CTM hall and more than 600 vacancies will be offered.
These four Job Fairs will be added to the seven that have already been held in the State so far this year, and are part of the national job fairs for young people that take place during this youth month nationwide.
