Daimay Opens First Plant in Coahuila

Coahuila marked a new milestone in its industrial development with the start of operations at the Daimay Parras facility, the first of three planned plants by the automotive components manufacturer in Parras de la Fuente. This initial phase is part of a broader investment of more than US$46.5million, aimed at strengthening the region’s manufacturing base and generating new employment opportunities.
The new plant is expected to create up to 2,500 direct jobs once it reaches full production capacity, contributing significantly to local and regional economic growth. The project is considered one of the most important industrial investments in the area in recent years due to its impact on job creation and productive activity.
The inauguration was led by state and municipal authorities along with company executives, who highlighted the importance of public-private collaboration in attracting investment and promoting sustainable development. Officials emphasized Coahuila’s commitment to providing favorable conditions for business expansion and industrial competitiveness.
The Daimay Parras project is part of a broader strategy to position Coahuila as a leading destination for manufacturing and automotive investment. With the development of three plants, the initiative is expected to strengthen supply chains, boost exports, and reinforce the state’s role in Mexico’s industrial sector.
