Daimay plant inaugurated in Ramos Arizpe

RAMOS ARIZPE, COAH - The Governor of Coahuila, Manolo Jiménez Salinas, started the construction of the Daimay plant in the municipality of Ramos Arizpe.

Accompanied by government authorities and industrialists, the governor laid the first stone as a symbol of the beginning of this great work in which US$53.3 million will be invested and which will provide employment for more than 1,500 inhabitants of the southeastern region of the state.

In his message, Jiménez Salinas emphasized that the success of any company depends on the work team, assuring that Daimay will have the best workers in Ramos, Saltillo, Coahuila and Mexico.

"We are happy to announce this investment and that is the best thing that can happen to a city, a state, a country," said the Governor of Coahuila.

He pointed out that his government is to be a facilitator for more jobs to arrive and develop; therefore, he reiterated his commitment with this and all the companies that want to work, undertake or invest in Ramos, Saltillo or Coahuila.

Finally, he assured that Coahuila along with Nuevo Leon, are the best region in the country to invest, adding that this allows Ramos Arizpe, Saltillo and Arteaga to be the center for automotive electromobility.

"That our people have a better quality of life. That is the ultimate goal we have, we are very happy to be here announcing this great investment and announcing more and better jobs for the people of Coahuila," he concluded.
