Dayco inaugurates its new plant in San Luis Potosi
SAN LUIS POTOSI - Dayco inaugurated its new plant in San Luis Potosí, located in the Tres Naciones park, in the Industrial Zone of the state.
Manuel Gutiérrez, Dayco's site manager for the new plant, welcomed executives from the company's headquarters in Latin America, the United States and Europe.
Also present were members of the Dayco team in San Luis Potosí, as well as the first group of workers who will start operations at the new headquarters in San Luis Potosí.
It is worth mentioning that this new division will be in charge of producing belts for light combustion cars, with its molded tooth design that operates more quietly and efficiently.
Among the new facilities are its Training and Quality Control areas, which have a rigorous process through a specialized laboratory, where physical and microscopic tests are carried out.
Dayco San Luis Potosi's investment, announced in 2022, totaled US$11.5 million, and according to the agreement, it will start operations in the first quarter of 2024.
