eSprinter and diesel Vito reach the domestic market
MEXICO - Mercedes-Benz Vanes officially launched the new eSprinter, a 100% electric model that comes in Cargo Van and Chassis Cab versions.
“It is prepared for a wide range of uses, whether they are trade customers, last mile, professions and trades, as well as logistics,” said Dominik Amann, general director of Mercedes-Benz Vanes Mexico.
Mariano Cuellar, Vanes Product Marketing Manager, explained that eSprinter comes with high-voltage lithium-iron-ferrophosphate batteries with three capacities: 56 - 81 - 113 kWh, which provide 220 km, 310 km and 440 km of autonomy, respectively.
The Cargo Van comes in medium versions with 11 m3 of capacity and long with 14 m3 of capacity. The Chassis Cab comes in medium and long versions.
Regarding charging times in direct current (DC) are: 56 kWh battery in 28 minutes, 81 kWh in 32 minutes and 113 kWh in 42 minutes.
Meanwhile, Oscar Benitez, Vanes Sales Manager, explained that eSprinter will be available from December 2024 in CDMX, Guadalajara and Monterrey, and during 2025 gradually throughout Mexico.
The prices of eSprinter are: 1,400,000 pesos in panel and 1,300,000 pesos in chassis cab.
Meanwhile, the new Vito arrives with a volumetric capacity of 6.6 m3 and a payload of 1.24 tons. The engine has a power of 136 HP and 330 Nm Euro 6 diesel. 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission.
Vita is already available from this year throughout the country, in the 35 points of sale of the brand in Mexico.
