Faurecia expands plant in Puebla

French firm Faurecia, a manufacturer of seats, steering wheels and other automotive components, recently inaugurated the expansion of its plant in Huejotzingo, Puebla, with investment valued at US$32.4 million, expecting to generate 600 jobs this year. Juan Farias, Vice President of Interiors for the firm in Mexico, pointed out that this plant will produce decorative components and this will be the first plant outside the European Union. This line will supply Volkswagen and Audi, in Puebla, beside BMW and Ford.
