Fictiv bets on Nuevo Leon

MONTERREY, NL - Fictiv announced the opening of its new global manufacturing Center of Excellence (CoE) in the city of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, which marks an important milestone in its global growth strategy.

According to the company, this expansion represents a significant investment, since it is its fourth manufacturing center and the first of its kind in the region.

It also specified that the facility will provide more production options in North America to mitigate the risk of supply chain disruption and provide fast, on-demand manufacturing services at cost-effective prices.

It will also strengthen nearshoring processes, driving strategic collaboration between companies and suppliers.

"With this expansion into Mexico, Fictiv will offer a solution beyond the established supply base inthe United States" The Company said.

According to Fictiv's State of Manufacturing 2024 Report, more than 50% of manufacturing leaders want to grow their supplier base in North America.

As such, this center will have manufacturing and quality engineering expertise, program management and logistics experts.

"Fictiv's operations in Mexico will provide Mexican manufacturers with unparalleled access to high-growth markets in the U.S., such as aerospace, climate technology and MedTech," the company said.

In this new building, the company will employ nearly 100 engineers over the next 12 months and create approximately 350 indirect jobs.
