Flix launches in NL and opens routes from Mexico to the US and Canada

The German intercity transport company Flix began operations in Mexico with a new terminal in the municipality of Escobedo, Nuevo Leon from where it will offer more than 560 monthly trips to different cities in the country.
The Nuevo León Ministry of Economy reported that this expansion will strengthen interstate and cross-border connectivity by connecting destinations such as Mexico City, Monterrey, and Torreón with a network of more than 1,600 cities in the United States and Canada through a partnership with Greyhound, a company in the same corporate group.
Flix, which has a presence in 45 countries and more than 6,400 destinations globally, decided to start its national operations from Nuevo León, considering its strategic location and its logistical and industrial infrastructure.
During the launch event, Carlos Magaña, CEO of Flix Mexico, said that the company seeks to offer a transportation model based on technology, sustainability, and links with local suppliers. “Nuevo León represents a strategic point to start our operations: a key logistics, industrial, and economic hub for Mexico and North America,” he said.
For his part, Carlos Serna, the state's undersecretary for Economic Development and Innovation, mentioned that Flix's arrival will help improve mobility, attract investment, and promote tourism in the region.
The launch of Flix's operations was attended by state and municipal authorities, as well as representatives from the business sector.
