Ford launches the 2025 Mustang Mach-E in the Mexican market

Ford introduced the 2025 version of the Mustang Mach-E to the Mexican market with significant updates that improve its performance and safety, as well as new finishes and the option to use any of the thousand VEMO charging points in the country.
Visually, one of the main new features is the introduction of three new colors: sand, magenta red, and electric blue, which are added to the other available options: sunset black, metallic white, denim gray, dark green, and solar yellow.
To accentuate details, the GT version features a new gloss black grille with a texture that highlights the illuminated Mustang emblem, while the Rally version has new dark gray wheels.
As previously reported, Ford replaced the rotary shift knob with a steering wheel gear lever, simplifying driving and improving interior space for users.
The 5G modem has also been updated for greater connectivity, along with the 15.5-inch screen, customizable multicolor ambient lighting, and various easy-access features, such as the E-Latch push-button door opening system and remote front opening, highlighting the ability to use your phone as a key via the FordPass app.
The GT and Rally versions of the new Ford Mustang Mach-E now have 700 lb-ft of torque, 50 pounds more than the previous version, allowing for 0-60 mph acceleration in 3.4 seconds.
Both versions maintain 480 horsepower and an extended-range battery that provides 250 miles of range on a single charge.
Ford has improved certain safety features such as the Securilock perimeter anti-theft alarm and the integration of functions such as automatic emergency braking and road edge detection, which add to other driving aids to enhance the driving experience, such as evasive maneuver assistance and blind spot monitoring with cross traffic alert.
Thanks to the collaboration with VEMO, Ford electric vehicle owners will now have greater access to public charging stations.
Through the “Watts by VEMO” app, available on iOS and Android, they will receive a preloaded balance of up to 5,000 pesos to use at any of the company's 1,000 charging stations throughout the country.
“For Ford Mexico, it is important to guarantee our electric vehicle customers that, regardless of the circumstances, they have nearby and reliable options for charging their vehicles. The company has a strong commitment to continue providing innovative mobility solutions, such as our partnership with VEMO, a proudly Mexican company,” said Lucien Pinto, President and CEO of Ford Mexico, on the occasion of this launch.
