GC Dental opens new facilities in Silao

SILAO, GTO - With an investment of US$1 million, the company American GC Dental opened its facilities in Silao, Guanajuato, from where it will distribute glass ionomer capsules for healthcare throughout the country.

The head of the Ministry of Sustainable Economic Development (SDES), Ramón Alfaro Gómez highlighted the diversification of the state of Guanajuato by attracting differentiated investments to boost and consolidate the medical device and life sciences sector in Guanajuato.

"These are the type of companies we seek to have in Guanajuato, they have innovation, technological development and it is a socially responsible company. I am very pleased to see the synergy from the arrival of projects that open opportunities for the future," he said.

In addition to the arrival of companies from new sectors, Alfaro Gómez highlighted that with the start-up of the Distribution Center, the offer of the logistics sector in the state is strengthened and diversified, one of the great commitments of the state government.

He also pointed out that Guanajuato has a high potential to develop the ecosystem for the consolidation of medical tourism and the creation of a cluster in the state.

In addition, with the arrival of this Distribution Center, Guanajuato confirms its potential as a Logistics Hub due to its geographic location, which allows to solve the shipping and distribution needs of the companies installed or to be installed in the state.
