GE Vernova opens new engineering offices in Querétaro

Global energy company GE Vernova has inaugurated new engineering offices in Querétaro, reinforcing the state’s position as a key hub for technology and industrial innovation in Mexico. The opening ceremony was led by Mauricio Kuri González, governor of Querétaro.

The new facilities will focus on engineering and technological development for projects related to power generation, electrification, renewable energy and digital solutions for energy systems. From this location, specialized teams will provide design, analysis and technical support for projects serving international markets.

The engineering center includes advanced tools for digital simulation, software validation and materials analysis, allowing engineers to design and test technologies used in modern energy infrastructure. The facility also integrates additive manufacturing capabilities, including industrial 3D printing, which helps accelerate the production and testing of specialized components.

In addition, the complex features a digital customer support center designed to assist energy projects around the world through remote collaboration, system modeling and technical analysis. Laboratories within the site will also support testing and evaluation of equipment used in power generation and electrical systems.

Officials highlighted that the investment strengthens the region’s innovation ecosystem and reflects international confidence in the technical talent available in the state. Over the years, Querétaro has become an important destination for engineering and research centers linked to high-tech industries.

With the launch of the new engineering offices, GE Vernova aims to expand its global engineering capabilities while continuing to develop advanced energy technologies from Mexico.
