Geely officially launches its new Coolray

During a test drive at the KBR karting track in Huixquilucan, State of Mexico, Geely Auto officially unveiled its Coolray Lite: an entry-level version available with either a manual or CVT transmission, featuring different equipment than the Plus version to offer it at more affordable prices.

The recently launched entry-level SUV is powered by a naturally aspirated 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, paired with a CVT or a 5-speed manual transmission, delivering 121 hp and 112 lb-ft of torque.

The CVT version features an electronic parking brake with Auto Hold, which allows for a more relaxed driving experience by eliminating the need to keep the brake pedal fully depressed; it also comes equipped with a rearview camera.

Prices for the Geely Coolray Lite range from US$19,067 to US$20,190 for the manual and CVT options, respectively.
