HENN Americas opens plant in Silao

The Austrian company HENN Connector Group, through its subsidiary HENN Americas, inaugurated a new plant in Silao, Guanajuato, with an investment of US$4 million and the creation of up to 100 direct jobs, strengthening the automotive and auto parts supply chain in the state.

The new facility, located in Hybrid Park Silao, opposite the FIPASI Industrial Park, covers an area of approximately 4,800 square meters, according to information from the B2B Industrial Cluster Intelligence team.

The opening was led by the Guanajuato State Ministry of Economy. Cristina Villaseñor, head of the agency, noted that this investment strengthens advanced manufacturing in the state and consolidates its position as one of the country's main industrial hubs.

“This new plant promotes advanced manufacturing and reaffirms the confidence of international companies in Guanajuato's talent, infrastructure, and competitiveness. HENN also strengthens the economic relationship between Mexico and Austria, adding technology, innovation, and growth for Guanajuato families.”

The facility in Silao is part of HENN's strategy to bring its operations closer to customers in North America and Latin America, reducing logistics times and strengthening its regional response capacity.

In June 2025, José Nolberto Cortez Alburja, vice president of HENN Americas Operation, confirmed the company's arrival in the state via LinkedIn:
