Index Matamoros promotes leadership through a training forum

The evolution of the maquiladora industry, generational change, and the challenges of retaining talent in an increasingly competitive and technology-driven environment call for new leadership styles capable of understanding the needs of human capital while optimizing the use of technological tools.
In this context, Index Matamoros will host the first “Organizational Training and Development Forum,” aimed at leaders and professionals in human resources, training, and organizational development.
Alejandra Solana Zarate, coordinator of the Talent Development area at Index Matamoros, noted that this event follows the launch of a committee focused on these topics, seeking to create a space for the exchange of knowledge, trends, and best practices.
Solana emphasized that one of the forum’s main focuses is to address the changes the industry faces with the arrival of new generations:
“We are seeing significant transformations within the maquiladora sector. Leadership has changed, talent expectations are different, and retention has become a key challenge. This forum seeks precisely to address those new needs,” she noted.
The forum is aimed at those who lead or work in human resources, training, and organizational development, though it will also be open to the general public interested in the topic and to students.
