Israeli, Chinese joint venture to open US$ 10 million plant in Guanajuato

Chinese manufacturer Hiroca Holdings Ltd. announced its board of directors has approved a plan to set up a joint venture in the municipality of Leon, Guanajuato for production of automotive plastic parts in partnership with Israel-based Arkal Automotive CS Ltd. 

Hiroca will invest US$ 4 million through its subsidiary Aocheng Group Co., Ltd. to hold a 40% stake in the joint venture tentatively named Arkal-Hirosawa. Total investment is expected to reach US$ 10 million.

Founded in 1997, Arkal Automotive designs and manufactures thermoformed plastic weight-saving solutions for the global automotive industry. The company owns 8 production facilities worldwide from where it supplies components for automakers such as Daimler, General Motors, Volkswagen-Audi and BMW.

Hiroca Holdings Ltd., through its subsidiaries, owns surface coating, injection molding and water transfer printing operations from where it manufactures components for automakers in China, the United States, and other global markets.
