Kia Begins Pre-Sales of the K4 Hatchback Version

Kia Mexico held a pre-sale of the hatchback version of the new 2026 Kia K4 with a limited batch of only 50 units, all of them with GT-Line Turbo trim and in an exclusive “Sparkling Yellow” color.
Unveiled last April at the 2025 New York International Auto Show, this variant of the compact K4 began production earlier this summer at the Pesquería plant in Nuevo León.
Inspired by the proportions and presence of the K4 sedan, the K4 Hatchback forges its own identity with a floating roof design that extends to the tailgate.
Despite being 28 centimeters shorter than its counterpart (27 cm in the GT-Line version), the K4 Hatchback maintains class-leading rear legroom and gains 2 centimeters of rear headroom, making it a leader in both respects.
Its versatile cargo space further enhances its utility, with 6.9 cubic meters of space behind the rear seats, which expands to 17.9 cubic meters with the seats folded down.

Like other GT-Line and GT-Line Turbo models in the Kia range, the K4 Hatchback GT-Line features unique design elements that enhance its sporty character, such as a three-spoke steering wheel, paddle shifters, and 18-inch alloy wheels-Line features unique design elements that enhance its sporty character, such as a three-spoke steering wheel, paddle shifters, 18-inch alloy wheels (compared to standard 17-inch alloy wheels), mirror caps, side skirts, and gloss black wheel arch moldings.
In addition, the GT-Line Turbo includes small cubic projection LED headlights, LED fog lights, a standard power sunroof, and 16-inch front brake discs.
Delivery of the first units is scheduled to begin in early September upon payment of 576,900 pesos.
The GT-Line Turbo version has a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine under the hood with 190 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque coupled to an 8-speed automatic transmission, McPherson-type front suspension, and independent multi-link rear suspension.

The interior stands out for its nearly 30-inch widescreen display, customizable interface, and wireless connectivity with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and the MyKia+ app.
The options package also includes a 360-degree surround-view monitor and live blind-spot monitor, as well as premium SynTex leather upholstery and heated seats.
