Knipping Automotive expands operations in Tlaxcala

The German company Knipping Automotive inaugurated its third plant in Huamantla, Tlaxcala, as part of an expansion that represents an investment of close to US$18.1 million and the generation of 150 new formal jobs.
This expansion reaffirms the company's commitment to the growth of its production plant in the state, which specializes in high-demand plastic solutions for the automotive industry.
During the inauguration event, Governor Lorena Cuéllar Cisneros highlighted that Tlaxcala has positioned itself as a reliable destination for industrial investment thanks to its security conditions, road infrastructure and qualified human capital.
“With this investment, Tlaxcala will continue to have the highest figure of the largest number of jobs we have ever had in history,” she assured.
In addition, Cuéllar announced the construction of a new Research Development Center, whose objective will be to train young people to facilitate their incorporation into the labor market. she also stressed the importance of the state's geographic location and the quality of its communication routes for regional economic development.
“Our way of communicating is wonderful, but also the place where we are located makes the transportation of all products much easier,” Cuéllar commented.
The Secretary of Economic Development, Javier Marroquín Calderón, highlighted that Knipping Automotive has already invested more than US$65 million in the state and reiterated that the state government will continue to promote the expansion of the Xicohténcatl II Industrial City to attract more foreign and national investment.
For his part, the founder and CEO of the company, Shah Parag, described the opening of this new warehouse as a “very significant milestone in the company's history”, and praised the support received from the state administration to consolidate its operations in Tlaxcala.
The director of Knipping Automotive in Mexico, Hugo Ruiz Blázquez, emphasized that the expansion of its infrastructure will strengthen the company's commitment to innovation, operational excellence and the generation of opportunities in the region.
“We are contributing to the economic development of Huamantla and Tlaxcala, driving the generation of jobs and strengthening the local supply chain,” he stated.
The opening ceremony was attended by executives of the German firm, state authorities and local legislators, who agreed that this type of investment consolidates Tlaxcala as a strategic pole for the automotive industry.
