LS Cable & System invests in Mexico expansion

LS Cable & System announced a significant investment to expand its manufacturing operations in Mexico, strengthening its production footprint and supply capabilities across North America.
The company will scale up its facility in Querétaro by adding new production lines and upgrading existing infrastructure to support higher output of power, industrial, and automotive cable systems. The expansion is designed to meet rising demand from energy projects, data centers, and mobility-related industries throughout the region.
By increasing local manufacturing capacity, LS Cable & System aims to create a more integrated and resilient supply chain that connects its Mexican operations more closely with customers and partners in the United States and Canada. This strategy is intended to shorten delivery times, improve service levels, and reduce exposure to global logistics disruptions.
Company executives emphasized that Mexico plays a strategic role in the firm’s long-term growth plan, given its strong manufacturing base, skilled workforce, and proximity to key North American markets. The expanded site is expected to become a central hub supporting regional distribution and future product development.
This move reflects a broader trend of industrial investment flowing into Mexico as companies seek to reinforce regional supply chains and increase production closer to end markets.
