MEiH Expo 2026: Electromobility, Innovation, and Regional Energy Strategy

The first edition of Expo MEiH 2026 took place at Expo Santa Fe in Mexico City, with the participation of key leaders from the energy sector.

Most of the day’s proceedings focused on the region’s strategic vision, as well as key topics such as electromobility, sustainable logistics, and their financing, featuring international speakers from Argentina, the guest country for this edition.

The event also featured an academic panel with representatives from the Universidad Iberoamericana, the Universidad Anahuac, and the Tecnologico de Monterrey, who shared their perspectives on talent development and the role of research in the evolution of the energy sector.

The opening day focused on the energy transition, energy security, and investment opportunities toward 2030; particular emphasis was placed on the need to diversify energy sources and encourage new investments.

One of the most significant moments was the Lunch for the 100 Leaders of the Energy Sector, which helped strengthen strategic dialogue and foster key partnerships. Additionally, throughout the expo, specialized forums, networking spaces, and business meetings took place, driving collaboration between the public and private sectors and addressing topics such as decarbonization, industrial competitiveness, and the development of clean energy.

With this first edition, Expo MEiH has positioned itself as a fundamental platform for driving Mexico’s energy future, and a commitment was made to follow up on the proposals and work undertaken at the 2027 edition.
