Mexicali will host the International Agroindustrial Forum 2025

For the first time, the International Agroindustrial Forum (FIA) will be held outside Mexico City. For its fourth edition, Baja California was selected to host the event, which will take place from June 12 to 14, 2025 at CEART Mexicali.

The meeting will bring together more than 150 companies from the sector, representatives from 27 embassies and a large national and international delegation. The program includes keynote lectures, seminars on trade and management, a business center, exhibition pavilions, as well as cultural and gastronomic activities.

Baja California was chosen for its strategic role in agribusiness, both because of its border location and its exporting capacity. The region is part of the Cali-Baja megaregion, which integrates the economies of southern California and northwestern Mexico, positioning it as a key point for agribusiness trade between Latin America, the United States and other markets.

During the forum, authorities from the Central de Abastos of Mexico City and Los Angeles will visit the state to explore commercial alliances. An agreement will also be signed between the Government of Mexico and the Government of Baja California to strengthen ties in the agroindustrial sector and open new opportunities for local producers.

FIA 2025 is organized by a technical committee headed by the Baja California Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, in coordination with other state agencies and business organizations such as Canacintra Mexicali and Canacintra Nacional, in addition to the support of the Federal Government and the Central de Abastos of Mexico City.
