MG Motor Mexico opens Training Center: Toward multi-energy technology

With the aim of demonstrating the capabilities that underpin its operations in the country, in a context where the automotive industry is evolving toward the coexistence of multiple propulsion technologies.
In a context where electrification is advancing—yet combustion, hybrid, and electric systems coexist—differentiation is no longer limited to the product itself.

Under this premise, MG Motors unveiled its Training Center as an infrastructure designed to train specialized technical talent capable of operating across multiple energy systems under world-class standards.

The center—inaugurated in 2024—is configured to provide standardized training for technicians and teams in the four types of propulsion systems currently coexisting in the industry.

With an area of over 3,000 square meters, distributed across various training spaces that include technical classrooms equipped with lifts and specialized tools, as well as areas dedicated to commercial and process training, it enables comprehensive training ranging from engineering to point-of-sale and service operations.

Thanks to this initiative, MG Motor Mexico is strengthening its position in the country, not only as a manufacturer but also as a key player that develops infrastructure, talent, and technical capabilities to support the evolution of the Mexican automotive industry.
