Mitchell Plastics to invest US$22 million in Queretaro

QUERETARO — Recently, Mitchell Plastics, a Canadian company, announced the expansion of its first plant in Mexico during an event led by the governor of Querétaro, Francisco Domínguez Servién. In just 5 years, Mitchell Plastics, specialized in the injection and painting of plastic components for customers such as Ford and General Motors, has had about 600 employees.
With this new expansion, whose investment is US$22 million, another 255 sources of jobs are expected to be added. There are currently 90 Canadian-owned companies such as Mitchell Plastics in the state of Querétaro.
Its plant has an area of 12,000 square meters where they manufacture interior and decorative components through processes such as plastic injection, injection molding, multi-injection, vacuum formation, and so on.
