Mitsubishi Motors Mexico increases its sales

In March, which marks the end of the Japanese fiscal year, Mitsubishi Motors de Mexico (MMDM) reported sales of 29,506 units, representing a 16% increase compared to fiscal year 2024.
In its 2026 performance, the automaker recorded a 2.4% increase—in March alone—with sales of 13,548 units, according to figures from INEGI and the Mexican Automotive Industry Association (AMIA).
As a result, the Japanese brand ranked among the top 15 in vehicle sales in Mexico, with a market share of 2.74%.
This percentage is driven by sales of the L200 pickup, accounting for 43% of sales, with 26% coming from Outlander Sport sales, and 19% from Xpander and Xpander Cross sales.
So far in 2026, Mitsubishi Motors de Mexico has sold 8,252 units: a 22% increase compared to the same period in 2025.
