MIYM will arrive in Aguascalientes

AGUASCALIENTES - Executives of Mexicana de Industrias y Marcas (MIYM), together with Tere Jiménez, governor of Aguascalientes, announced an investment of US$26 million for the construction of a plant in the state.

The plant will focus on the industrialization, processing and packaging of milk and dairy products.

Teodoro Espejo Barradas, president of the company's Board of Directors, said that construction of the complex in the north of the state will begin next December, with a surface area of 70 to 100 hectares.

He also stated that the project will be developed in two stages and they expect to start operations in 2025.

Teodoro Espejo Barradas pointed out that they decided to come to Aguascalientes over other entities due to its strategic location that allows them to expand their operations nationwide.

“We made the decision to establish ourselves in the locality because it is the best place to invest thanks to its competitive advantages, especially its location, as this will allow us to reach the entire region and thus expand the distribution of our products,” he said.

On the other hand, Tere Jiménez showed his enthusiasm for the injection of 100% Mexican capital and the confidence that continues to be generated for the arrival of more investors.
