Mubea inaugurates new plant in Coahuila
COAHUILA - The German company Mubea CCS inaugurated a new plant in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila with an investment of US$54.9 million.
The new space will be focused on the manufacture of components for automotive chassis of leading brands in the industry, thus consolidating its presence in the country as part of its strategic expansion plan.
During the inauguration, the governor of Coahuila, Manolo Jiménez Salinas, informed that during 2024, the state has had investments of more than US$394 million and the generation of thousands of jobs.
Mubea, a German automotive company, will produce fiberglass and resin composite springs for chassis in Ramos Arizpe.
Manolo Jiménez added that whenever a company like Mubea is inaugurated, it is of great benefit for young university students who are about to graduate, since they are quality and well-paid jobs, and where they can grow professionally.
Luis Olivares Martinez, Secretary of Economy, said that with this new plant, Mubea strengthens its presence in Mexico and in the state, reaffirming its confidence in Coahuila.
James Sheehan, CEO of Mubea North America thanked the Government of Coahuila for the opening of the company.
Company executives emphasized that the investment is not only focused on the construction of facilities, but also on the integration and development of human capital in the region.
