Grupo Lala to invest in Sonora
Grupo Lala is working on the establishment of its milk production plant in Sonora, with an investment of US$18.9 million. Eduardo Tricio Haro, President of Grupo Lala, met with the Governor of Sonora, Claudia Pavlovich Arellano to present the project. This is a last-generation plant that will be established in Ciudad Obregon, in the South of Sonora. It is expected that the new plant be inaugurated within a year, expecting to generate well-paid employments and to bring to Sonora the opportunity to have the best milk in Mexico.

Baja California to receive Asiatic investment
The Taiwanese companies ANT Precision and Quanshen announced investments per US$31 million for the State of Baja California. ANT Precision will establish a plant in Ensenada, with an investment of approximately US$6 million and a generation of 82 direct jobs for a first stage, offering tooling processes, fixtures and the production of specialized harnesses. Quanshen will expand its operations by investing US$25 million and creating 300 additional jobs this year, as well as the acquisition of an industrial building to produce golf clubs.
