Panduit inaugurates new plant in Nuevo Leon
APODACA, NL – Panduit, a company specialized in advanced physical, electrical and network infrastructure solutions, inaugurated a new manufacturing plant in the municipality of Apodaca, Nuevo Leon.
This is a 7,803 square meter (m2 ) complex in addition to the 14,500 square meter (14,500 m2 ) plant inaugurated in 2007 in the same area.
"The strategic decision to develop a new plant in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon not only means speeding up the company's response times and offering better service, but also the generation of new jobs in the country," said Carlos Arochi, director of Panduit Latam.
It is worth mentioning that, according to the press release, this second building is the American company's largest in Latin America; it is also one of the most important for the production of copper and fiber cabling.
"The production of made-to-order manufacturing solutions at our Monterrey plant is motivated by Panduit's interest in meeting the real needs of the market," the executive highlighted.
In addition, it is reported that from its plants in Mexico, it exports electrical and network infrastructure solutions for industrial, business and data center environments to North America, Latin America, Asia and Europe.
With this expansion of the company in Nuevo Leon, it will create 280 jobs by the end of 2022. In the first plant, it has generated 800 jobs.
