Production of the 2026 Dodge Charger Scat Pack begins in Ontario

Stellantis officially began production of the 2026 Dodge Charger Scat Pack at its Windsor, Ontario, assembly plant, while also opening orders in the United States and Canada for the newest member of the family, which comes equipped with a new high-performance 3.0-liter inline-six engine called Sixpack, with 550 horsepower.
This vehicle is the second in a new line of muscle cars that the American brand will offer with gasoline or 100% electric powertrain options, as in the case of the 670-horsepower Dodge Charger Daytona, which began production a year ago at the same plant.
As with the Daytona, the Scat Pack will initially be produced only in a two-door version, while the four-door configuration will debut at a later date.
Stellantis also opened orders for the Dodge Charger R/T, a third gasoline-powered version whose production will begin in the first quarter of next year, equipped with a standard performance version of the Sixpack that delivers 420 horsepower.

“Today we celebrate a major milestone for Stellantis, the Dodge brand, and our Canadian team: the launch of production of the new Dodge Charger Scat Pack with Sixpack engine,” said Trevor Longley, president and CEO of Stellantis Canada, at the kickoff ceremony.
“Assembled in Windsor, the Dodge Charger offers customers the freedom to choose between internal combustion or battery-powered engines to suit their lifestyle and combines exceptional performance with cutting-edge innovation,” he added.

Matt McAlear, executive director of Dodge, highlighted that the new Charger line has already won multiple awards, “including Ward's 10 Best Interiors, Ward's 10 Best Powertrains, and the MotorWeek Drivers' Choice Award, and offers the power you're looking for through a true multi-energy platform.”
The multinational automaker invested nearly $1.4 billion in the Windsor plant to install the STLA Large architecture, which gives it the flexibility to assemble electric, hybrid, and gasoline vehicles on the same production line.
