Queretaro secured 10 investment projects

At the end of the first quarter of the year, the Secretariat of Sustainable Development (SEDESU) reported the completion of 10 investment projects representing a potential inflow of US$457 million, as well as the estimated creation—in the medium term—of 3,479 highly specialized jobs.
The head of the agency, Marco Antonio Del Prete Tercero, explained that the investments secured during this period are concentrated primarily in the aeronautics, food and beverage, automotive, and energy sectors, reflecting a diversification of the state’s productive base.
The first-quarter results are part of a state strategy aimed at strengthening competitiveness and attracting high-value-added projects. The consolidation of these projects and the growth of the investment portfolio position Queretaro as a key destination for both domestic and international capital.
In this way, the state continues to strengthen its profile as a recipient of investment in strategic sectors, with projected impacts on the creation of skilled jobs and regional economic dynamism in the medium term.
