Querétaro to explore projects in electrologistics, electromobility, and solar energy

The state of Querétaro will promote projects related to electric mobility, electrologistics, and community solar energy as part of a multisectoral alliance that stems from a collaboration agreement between state agencies, the Ministry of Sustainable Development (Sedesu), the Querétaro Energy Agency, and the organization Sostenibilidad Global.
The agreement proposes exploring the potential of electro-logistics, given Querétaro's location and its role as a logistics and industrial hub in the country, according to information released by Sostenibilidad Global.
The state's experience in formalizing public transportation will also be documented to provide evidence that can be replicated in other regions.
Similarly, distributed energy and community solar models will be promoted through the Alliance for Energy Equity (AEE).
During the signing of the agreement, the president of Sostenibilidad Global, Isabel Studer Noguez, said that this initiative could inspire more entities to accelerate their energy transition with solutions created from within the territory.
The Undersecretary of the Environment at Sedesu, Ricardo Javier Torres Hernández, emphasized that environmental and energy challenges can only be solved collaboratively.
“Environmental and energy challenges can only be solved if we join forces, share knowledge, and build trust between sectors. This alliance demonstrates that in Querétaro, sustainability is built collectively,” he said.
This collaborative project aims to accelerate the energy transition with a territorial and feminist approach, in line with the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
