Scania strengthens its network in Puebla

Scania Mexico strengthens its network with the expansion of its Puebla branch, designed to increase workshop productivity and reduce downtime for fleets in the south-central part of the country.
The facility covers a total of 11,400 m² and integrates specialized workflows for collision and gas-powered vehicles, driving operational efficiencies and more predictable service for customers.
“This expansion in Puebla converts infrastructure into availability. By being closer to the operation and organizing workflows, we reduce downtime and deliver a consistent experience across the network,” said Manuel Aranda, retail director.
The expansion separates processes and allows more units to be worked on in parallel with 10 bays: six dedicated to collision repair and four equipped for gas, as well as a warehouse extension focused on collision repair parts to speed up authorizations and deliveries. This increases installed capacity and optimizes the pace of work on each job order.
“Service is a product, and its indicator is uptime. With greater specialization and a portfolio aligned with each operation—from gas to collision—we return units to the road with certainty and quality,” said Leandro Hernández, director of commercial services.
Improvements are also being made in technical and staff support areas—such as pits, engine washing areas, and renovated wellness spaces—which increase the safety, ergonomics, and efficiency of the equipment, translating into higher quality and consistency in results.
Due to its strategic location (close to Mexico City, the State of Mexico, Tlaxcala, and Veracruz), Puebla has established itself as a center of excellence for collision repair and specialized technical services.
Today, the headquarters formally services 250 tractor-trailers and 95 buses, with expectations for growth following the expansion. In addition, direct on-site intervention avoids referrals to external workshops, shortening turnaround times and improving predictability for the customer.
