Schunk Mexico inaugurates Technology Center in Querétaro

QUERETARO - With an investment of more than US$6.1 million, Schunk Mexico inaugurated its new Technology Center in Querétaro, a project that will also generate 66 jobs specialized in the development of gripping systems and fastening technology for mechanical engineering.

This facility marks an important advance in the region's technological capacity, focusing on the integration of artificial intelligence to optimize production and reduce learning times in its processes.

“With the inauguration of Schunk we are witnessing that industry that is rarely seen and that is behind the industry itself,” Del Prete said, emphasizing the key role of these types of developments in the economic growth of the state.

Kristina Schunk, CEO of the company, expressed her pride in the opening of the plant, thanking the teams in Mexico and Germany for their commitment and dedication, which have been essential for the realization of this project.
