Shacman Mexico to Open Assembly Plant in Puebla

Shacman Mexico announced its partnership with Sesé—a logistics and assembly company—to establish a plant in Puebla, with a view to assembling 1,000 Shacman trucks at the outset and plans to increase the volume to 4,000 vehicles by the third year of operation.

The facility, which will require an investment of around $15 million, will focus on assembling Shacman brand SKDs (Semi-Knocked Down), meeting demand in Mexico and Latin America.

“We are excited to partner with Sesé to bring this new assembly plant to Puebla. This facility will play a crucial role in our growth strategy, allowing us to meet the growing demand for Shacman trucks while contributing to the local economy,” said Carlos Pardo, president and CEO of Shacman Mexico.

The company will leverage Sesé's logistics and assembly expertise to ensure that the production process is efficient and meets the highest quality standards. The plant is expected to begin operations in the second quarter of 2026.
