Sinbon Electronics invests US$27 million in San Luis Potosí plant

San Luis Potosí reinforces its profile as an industrial hub with the opening of a Sinbon Electronics plant in Villa de Reyes. The Taiwanese company has invested US$27 million in the construction of these facilities, which will generate around 700 direct jobs in sectors such as automotive, medical, and green energy.

The plant will produce cable harnesses and interconnection systems for customers in the Americas, under strict international quality standards. With this operation, the company expands its global manufacturing network and strengthens its technological competitiveness.

The inauguration event was attended by company executives, including Joseph Wang, CEO of Sinbon Electronics, and Joy Wu, vice president, as well as representatives from the diplomatic and business sectors.

The firm highlighted that this investment will promote the development of specialized talent and technology transfer in the region.

Founded in 1989, Sinbon Electronics has a presence in Asia, Europe, and the Americas, and is known for its innovation and commitment to sustainability. Its arrival in San Luis Potosí promotes productive diversification and strengthens the entity's presence in international high-tech markets.
