Stellantis reaches new milestone in Saltillo

SALTILLO, COAH - The Stellantis plant in Saltillo, Coahuila, celebrated the 5 millionth assembly of its Ram 2500 Power Wagon model.

The 5 millionth unit is a Ram 2500 Power Wagon with a 6.4-litre HEMI V8, Heavy Duty, Hydro Blue colour. To celebrate this milestone, an event was held for employees, managers and representatives of the Stellantis Mexico union.

"This achievement is only possible with skilled labour and a great commitment from everyone who works here; they are essential to continue to shine as we have been doing," said Carlos Rivera, Vice President of Manufacturing at Stellantis Mexico.

The Saltillo Assembly Plant started operations in 1995. Today, more than 4,000 employees assemble Ram 1500 Classic and Heavy Duty models (2500, 3500, 4000, 4500 and 5500). The plant's flexibility allows it to produce more than 100 versions. Ram pick-ups from this plant are exported to 45 countries.
