TAJCO to invest in new automotive plant in Querétaro

The Danish company TAJCO, a leader in the production of automotive components, announced an investment of more than US$10.4 million for the installation of a plant in the municipality of Querétaro. The new facility will be located in the FINSA III Industrial Park and is expected to start operations in June 2026.
During an event held at the BLOQUE Center for Innovation and Creative Technology, the municipal president of Querétaro, Felipe Fernando Macías Olvera, informed that this investment will generate more than 270 direct jobs.
At the event, the mayor received from Niels Ole Jeppesen, Director of Operations of TAJCO Mexico, the letter of commitment that formalizes the arrival of the company to the capital of Queretaro.
The Mayor emphasized that Queretaro maintains its position as a national benchmark for investment, employment, economy, safety and quality of life. He also emphasized that the city ranks second in competitiveness at the national level, which, he said, is the result of offering legal certainty, clear rules and a friendly regulatory environment for investment.
Alejandro Sterling Sánchez, Secretary of Municipal Economic Development, pointed out that foreign investment in Querétaro has grown 217% during the current administration, which represents almost a threefold increase compared to the previous period. This increase has allowed the opening of 1,394 new companies so far this year.
Sterling Sanchez also indicated that the municipality has an active portfolio of ten additional investment projects, which reinforces its attractiveness for global companies such as TAJCO.
Founded in 1946, TAJCO has a presence in the United States, Denmark, Slovakia, China and Germany. With its arrival in Querétaro, the company will expand its manufacturing network in the production of high-quality auto parts for the automotive industry.
