Tamaulipas participates in FAMEX 2025

Tamaulipas was part of the Mexico Aerospace Fair (FAMEX) 2025, an event that brings together 337 companies and representatives from 48 countries with the purpose of strengthening the aerospace industry, promoting technological innovation and encouraging new investments.
The fair, organized by the Ministry of National Defense through the Mexican Air Force, is being held from April 23 to 26 at Military Air Base No. 1 in Santa Lucia, State of Mexico. This year's edition was inaugurated by President Claudia Sheinbaum, in an event attended by governors and members of the federal cabinet.
Within the event, the state of Tamaulipas highlighted its participation with a stand headed by the Ministry of Economy, in collaboration with companies, universities and industrial associations. The head of this agency, Ninfa Cantú Deándar, said that the joint participation between the public, private and academic sectors is part of a strategy to promote investment in the region.
Among the attendees who accompanied the state governor were representatives of the industrial and educational sectors, such as the president of INDEX Nacional, Humberto Martínez, and the rector of the Universidad Tecnológica de Tamaulipas Norte, Edgar Garza Hernández, as well as municipal officials and businessmen linked to regional economic development.
FAMEX is considered one of the most relevant platforms in Latin America for the development of the aerospace industry, and its sixth edition seeks to consolidate alliances and investment projects, both national and international.
