TechOps Mexico trains young people in Querétaro

TechOps Mexico, a company specializing in aircraft maintenance, successfully completed the training of 68 young people as part of the Talent Training Scholarship Program, promoted by the state government to strengthen links between companies and local human capital.
The program aims to prepare people over the age of 18 to enter the job market through direct training in companies in the productive sector. In this case, TechOps provided training in areas such as engine maintenance, structural repairs, operational safety, and aeronautical regulations.
“Today we can proudly say that the goal has been achieved. Each one of you represents the future of this industry,” said Brandon Jáuregui Flores, general manager of TechOps Mexico, during the program's closing ceremony.
The governor of Querétaro, Mauricio Kuri González, stressed that talent development is key to maintaining the state's attractiveness to investors, while creating an environment of trust for the establishment and growth of companies.
For her part, State Labor Secretary Liliana San Martín Castillo explained that the program responds to labor market demands and promotes the development of young people of working age, especially in strategic sectors such as aerospace.
Since 2023, the state government has promoted 170 job training initiatives and facilitated the placement of 45,000 people in formal jobs, according to official figures.
TechOps Mexico began operations in 2014 at the Querétaro International Airport (AIQ) and is currently considered one of the largest aircraft maintenance bases in Latin America. The company has more than 1,700 employees and operates in an area of more than 100,000 square meters, providing MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) services for wide-body, narrow-body, and regional jet aircraft.
