The Autonomous University of Querétaro launches an automotive laboratory

QUERETARO – With an investment of US$117,447, Teresa García Gasca, the rector of the Autonomous University of Querétaro (UAQ) of the San Juan del Río campus, inaugurated the new automotive laboratory of the institution.
This complex has 144 square meters of construction and an investment of US$53,830 was needed, applied to the construction of the space and additionally about US$ 68,511 in the equipment. These resources were obtained through contributions from the Rectory, the Faculty of Engineering and resources from research projects.
García Gasca mentioned that the laboratory is the sum of the will of the institution and the Faculty of Engineering to carry out steps that support future researchers, therefore she said, “I want to congratulate the entire student community of the Faculty of Engineering of our San Juan del Río campus for this new space, a living laboratory, where they will have the opportunity to carry out practices and activities that will help them complete their training, allowing them to have better skills within their academic training competence,”.
