The new Virtus 2022 arrives in Mexico

MEXICO – Under the concept "Achieve what you want", the Volkswagen brand presents the new Virtus 2022, a dynamic vehicle, with elegant and spacious design, which seeks to become the new reference in the automotive industry in Mexico.

The new member of the Volkswagen family, imported from India, the new Virtus will be available in three versions: Trendline, Comfortline and Highline and five different colors.

The flexibility of the MQB AO platform allows the new Virtus to offer a large interior space taking advantage of a spacious cabin and trunk (521 liters).

Efficiency, design, interior space, safety and connectivity are just some of the qualities that stand out in this car and set the standard in the segment.

The exterior features a new headlight design, front fascia and grilles, as well as a new LED signature daytime running light and an updated wheel design. While the interior features a new-generation steering wheel, a renewed gear lever, new upholstery and two-tone dashboard color with new decorative inserts, sunroof and 1.0 L TSI 114 hp engine for the Highline version.

The model is equipped with technology, connectivity and entertainment features with digital instrument cluster, digital infotainment system and wireless App Connect via Apple CarPlayTM and Android AutoTM, 8 speakers with factory surround sound, wireless mobile charging, to name a few.

For the Highline version, efficient TSI technology is integrated offering 85kW (115PS) power delivery and 178 Nm of torque in the 1.0l TSI engine, offering customers a fun driving experience. Safety is a priority for Volkswagen: The sedan offers up to 6 airbags, multi-collision brakes, LED headlights, ISOFIX, tire pressure deflation warning, among the many other features.
