ThyssenKrupp plant in San Luis Potosí passes U.S. labor inspection

The San Luis Potosí plant operated by thyssenkrupp has successfully passed a labor review initiated by U.S. authorities under the North American trade agreement framework, reaffirming its compliance with international labor standards.
The review process was triggered by a petition aimed at assessing potential violations related to freedom of association and collective bargaining rights within the facility. After a thorough evaluation, authorities concluded that no breaches had occurred, allowing the case to be closed without penalties.
This outcome strengthens both the company’s position and the broader labor environment in the region, demonstrating adherence to Mexico’s labor reforms and trade commitments. It also boosts confidence among foreign investors, particularly in key sectors such as automotive manufacturing.
Additionally, the resolution highlights the effectiveness of current mechanisms designed to address labor concerns, at a time when enforcement of labor provisions has become a central component of trade relations between Mexico and the United States.
