TOPSUN invests US$55 million, generating jobs

The city of Leon continues to establish itself as a strategic destination for investment, with the arrival of TOPSUN, which will represent an investment of US$55 million and a commitment to create 800 jobs in the city.
During the visit to the new plant—located in the PILBA Industrial Park—Maria Fernanda Rodriguez, Secretary for Economic Recovery, highlighted the value of this investment and its positive impact on the quality of life for families in Leon.
“We want to reiterate that you are not alone; we are and will remain allies who will support your work. We are committed to the project and to creating the necessary conditions for you to continue growing. We believe in collaboration, strategic alliances, and joint efforts between the government and the private sector as the foundation for building well-being,” she said.
TOPSUN General Manager Michael Sheng acknowledged the municipal government’s support since the project’s inception, highlighting collaboration and mutual benefit as key elements for its success.
