VEMO enhances real-time management telemetry platform

When discussing electric mobility, people generally think of passenger vehicles; however, some companies are choosing to transition their internal combustion engine fleets to electric vehicles. And while this transition offers benefits such as savings in operating costs, reduced emissions, and tax incentives, it also presents logistical, operational, and technological challenges that must be addressed from a comprehensive perspective.

“The advancement of electromobility in Mexico has led to a rethinking of how fleets are managed. Adopting electric vehicles involves transforming operations, and that process becomes easier when you have accurate and timely information. This is essential for efficient management aligned with sustainability goals,” explained Constantino Rodriguez, Head of Commercial at VEMO, the leading Mexican cleantech company in the transition toward clean mobility in Latin America.

To facilitate this transition and make daily operations more efficient, there are technological tools such as ZEE (Zero Emission Ecosystem), a telemetry technology platform developed by VEMO that allows for the centralization of the most relevant information regarding electric vehicle fleets.

This solution enables real-time monitoring of operations, facilitates evidence-based decision-making, and quantifies environmental impact through key indicators, such as avoided emissions.

According to data from the Electric Mobility Association (EMA), by the end of 2025, sales of electric vehicles, plug-in hybrids, and extended-range electric vehicles represented an annual growth of 38.5%, while the charging network reached 56,726 stations, an annual increase of 26%.

This reflects that electromobility has gained traction and is becoming firmly established in Mexico.
