MEXICO — Volaris transported medical equipment from the Red Cross to ten points in Mexico, helping the bodies of volunteers from this organization to combat the epidemiological crisis of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The material was sent to Tijuana, La Paz, Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Monterrey, Oaxaca, Cancún, Hermosillo, Aguascalientes, Colima and Zacatecas. Each locality received 70 boxes of soap bars of 7 kilograms each, and a container of approximately 20 kilograms with face masks.
“The transport of these materials will facilitate the great work of Red Cross volunteers to serve the people who need it most in a moment of fragility, in which we must take care of each other. At Volaris we recognize the work of doctors and volunteers; this joint effort with the organization is an example of our commitment to the communities where we operate,” said Enrique Beltranena, CEO and president of Volaris.
