MEXICO – Viva Aerobus announced an extension of its initiative to combat the Covid-19 pandemic in the country and will offer free flights to medical personnel during June.
Through a statement, the ultra low-cost airline detailed that this program includes any of its 52 active routes during this period, for the moment that health workers require it.
“We continue to support the heroes who work for the well-being of all of us with great dedication: the medical community. They have Viva to fly safely, reliably and free of charge, to take care of all Mexicans,”said Juan Carlos Zuazua, CEO of Viva Aerobus.
The airline reported that applicants should check available routes and flights on its website.
The staff must have a professional identification card issued by a private or public hospital unit, the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) or the Institute of Security and Social Services of State Workers (ISSSTE) or similar, with name and photography.
Likewise, they must have a certificate issued by the medical Institution indicating that the staff needs to travel.
